We returned to Pier One after 4 years, from the UK We found the Apt. pristine and fresh. Everything worked efficiently The view of the pier & esplanade are perfect with an attractive pool. From comfortable loungers, to good quality towels and bed linen. The apt has washer, dryer, internet access, air conditioing and fans. We were received warmly, and found a a nice starter pack for breakfast and a newspaper on the patio each morning.

We stayed here for two nights.Peter the owner/manager had allocated us a ocean view luxury 2 bed apartment in Peppers pier resort. The standard was way above what we were expecting for our money. The fittings were extremely high class. In the fridge was milk, fruit juice, yogurts a jug of chilled water….there was powder for the laundry (we had not expected these facilities as they weren’t listed ) a dishwasher with powder…..A huge living dining area even equipped with a PC.
the balcony was huge with sun loungers and table and chairs for 4 and we were about 20 metres from the ocean. was parked in secure parking. all the facilities of the resort were avaialble to us.
Room Tip: Ocean view is fantastic

We have just returned from a 4 night getaway to Hervey Bay staying in a room at Peppers Pier One resort. We booked through Waterfront Apartments with Peter Beattie and he gave us a great deal on a very luxurious apartment at Peppers, (Waterfront apartments also own about 14 apartments at Peppers) and so pleased we did, Peter and his wife were extremely helpful, and also helped us source a bike for our daughter to rent whilst we were there.
We were in room 306, a 2 bed apartment with a huge patio, which practically got the sun all day, plus had a great view, 2 bathrooms (1 had a spa bath which we only used once), fully equipped kitchen, so we had breakfast in our apartment on the patio, which was so relaxing. The pools were immaculately clean and very inviting.
We did a day tour of Fraser Island and a whale watching boat trip with Whalesong Cruises who I’d highly recommend, we saw PLENTY of whales. We will definitely go back.

I doubt I will ever deal with nicer and more helpful people. I stayed at the Pier Resort Apartments owned by the owners of Hervey Bay Waterfront Apartments. These are just down the road, but maintained by the family and booked through them. I cannot recommend this highly enough. I stayed here for 2 weeks in July.
The rooms: Are amazing. The view was spectacular, the rooms are huge and well furnished. The kitchen had everything I could possibly need to cook my own meal, all excellent quality and clean. The lounge was very large with a great big television and a computer. I was blown away that it was provided. The view out my window was entirely of the Bay. The balcony was huge, with two very comfortable deck chairs and a table, and was very private.
The bedroom was great, with a set of drawers and wardrobe. It joined to the lounge and bathroom with doors either side. The bathroom was also huge, with a big shower and a spa. There was a laundry area near the front of the door.
On top of all this, what really blew me away was the quality of service. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly. Coming from sleeping from an ironing board at home, I found the mattress too soft – it was replaced within a day of me inquiring about whether something else was available, all while I wasn’t in the apartment. It was the most generous and fuss free service I have received. Breakfast was even provided on the first night. The rooms are not serviced but during the middle of the week I came back to find my bed made and fresh towels, which was a lovely surprise.
There are restaurants downstairs and a great big pool. The resort is very close to the pier.
I really cannot speak highly enough of the quality of apartments, my stay and the service I received.

Just wanted to say how impressed we were with the apartment we stayed in. Absolute waterfront, huge balcony, quality furnishings, modern convenience of kitchen facilities. The place was perfect.. Probably the first time ever that I have not been disappointed with a room that i have booked. Your service and your pricing were fantastic. Its nice to know that sometimes you do actually get what you had hoped for. I will definitely book with you again next time we are up that way. Thanks again!

These apartments are stunning, pure luxury. I drove to Hervey bay from Brisbane with no where booked and arrived in Urangan at about 17:00. Peter at the reception was excellent getting me a great rate and organising my trip to see the humpback whales.There are some excellent bars close by too.The apartment was stunning, by far the best i stayed in whilst in Oz.

Stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment with family. It was large well appointed and had a great view over the bay. Three of the rooms had enquires and there was a third bathroom. There was even a spa bath, though the water pressure was low so took a long time to fill. We ate at Salt for breakfast though service was a bit slow 45 mins for orders for breakfast. The pool was great for the kids, and there was a basement car park with plenty of visitor parking. Definitely would stay here again.

The situation – the apartment faced the sea. The bed was comfortatable, with enough pillows ! The convenience of a dishwasher, tumble dryer and dishwasher – it was extremely well equipped and spacious.
